“Sagnik took Oindrila to buy Pallavi’s anniversary present,” reveals late actress’ friend Sayak Chakraborty

Proving the claim ‘wrong’, Pallavi’s househelp Salima Sardar had opened up in front of the media earlier. And now, Pallavi’s friend Sayak has made some shocking revelations too. He says, “Oindrila has been claiming that she didn’t know Sagnik much well. When I saw her on television, I quickly recalled how Sagnik took her to buy gold jewellery as Pallavi’s anniversary gift from a renowned shop. He even sent photos of Oindrila giving the necklace a trial at the jewellery shop. He sent me the photo to get my feedback,” says Sayak. The actor, who was one of the close friends of Pallavi, quickly found the photo (which he has shared with ETimes TV) and the telephone chat that reportedly goes against Oindrila’s ‘claim’.

“ I still have the photo and the chat. If Oindrila didn’t know him that well, then why did he take her to the shop that too, to buy Pallavi’s gift?” questions Sayak.

The actor also spoke about the lavish arrangement made by Sagnik for the anniversary. “He had made a lavish arrangement for their anniversary celebration. Sagnik had booked Bawali Rajbari for the celebration,” remembers Sayak along with all the vivid details from the party.

."I have also heard Oindrila accused Sagnik of misbehaving with her along with the fact that Pallavi requested her to keep quiet and not file a complaint. Being Pallavi's friend, I don't believe this. Pallavi was a rebellious girl who always stood for what was right. I still remember how Pallavi raised her voice when a person duped aspirant actors in exchange for money. I think it's time to stop putting things on Pallavi's shoulder who isn't among us to defend herself," adds Sayak.

Just like Sayak, other Pallavi’s close friends have also spoken up about Oildrila’s alleged presence in Sagnik’s life. On Wednesday, Pallavi’s househelp Salima had recorded her statement in front of police. In a conversation with the media, too, she shared that Oindrila used to visit Pallavi’s flat in her absence.
