Rupanjana Mitra celebrates son Rian’s birthday with husband Ratool Mukherjee
Rupanjana Mitra began a new chapter in her life in April this year. The Bengali actress tied the knot with long-time partner and filmmaker Ratool Mukherjee on April 19. The couple dated for over six years before tying the knot. The actress started dating Ratool after divorcing her first husband Rezaul Hauque. Ratool is six years younger than Rupanjana. But the age-gap never became an issue in their relationship. Rupanjana has a son, Rian from her first marriage with Rezaul. Rupanjana says, Ratool is very fond of Rian and Rian too feels very comfortable with him. According to the ‘Bonbibi’ actress, Ratool is extremely protective of Rian and they have become best friends over the years. Rupanjana and Rian lived together with Ratool under the same roof for years before getting married legally. From ‘Gaye Holud’ to ‘Sidur Daan’ – the couple did not miss out on any rituals for their wedding. Rupanjana’s son Rian stayed by her mother’s side throughout. Rian enjoyed her mother’s Boubhat ceremony with the guests, friends and other family members.
Rupanjana and Ratool along with Rian jetted off to Kashmir for their honeymoon cum summer vacation. The couple posted several photos on social media from their fun and dreamy trip.
