Roshnai: Aranyak tends to Roshnai as she falls ill

‘Roshnai’ is currently witnessing extreme tension between Roshnai, Aranyak and Garima. As per the current track of the Bengali television show, Garima slapped Roshnai in front of everyone after a drunken Roshnai caused a scene at Garima’s birthday party. Roshnai was taken aback by the suddenness of Garima’s act and broke down crying. Roshnai kept on saying that she didn’t deserve it as she hadn’t told anyone anything yet. Garima heard Roshnai’s words and asked Aranyak what she was talking about. Aranyak stayed silent throughout it all. Roshnai, on the other hand, fell ill after crying so much. Aranyak went to Roshnai’s room to check on her and found her lying almost unconscious in the bed. Aranyak found out that Roshnai was suffering from high fever. Aranyak called Roshnai’s name a few times and when she got back to her senses, Roshnai asked Aranyak to help her board a train to Banaras so that she could go home. Aranyak told Roshnai that she needed to see a doctor first. Aranyak also expressed his disappointment to Roshnai telling her that he did not like how she gave away her gifts to Garima.

Meanwhile, Garima is back at the Chatterjee residence to take Roshnai home with her. As Garima enters the Chatterjee residence, she starts looking for Roshnai and Aranyak. Mini tells her that Aranyak is in Roshnai’s room. Garima reaches Roshnai’s room to see Aranyak tending to her with utmost care. Garima is stunned to see that. As Aranyak comes down after this, Garima causes a scene claiming that she wanted to take Roshnai home so that Aranyak does not have to put up with any more stress. Aranyak tries to make Garima understand that whatever he is doing, is doing out of humanity. Garima leaves in anger. Aranyak calls a doctor home for Roshnai.

‘Roshnai’, helmed by writer, director, and producer Leena Gangopadhyay and directed by Saibal Banerjee, stars actress Anushka Goswami in the titular role. The story of the show revolves around a dancing protégé living in Banaras. Roshnai inherits her talent in dancing from her mother Sudarshana. Sean Banerjee plays the character of the male protagonist, Aranyak, in ‘Roshnai’. Sean is one of the most popular heroes on Bengali television. The model-turned-actor rose to fame with his portrayal of Dr Ujaan Chattrjee in the romantic medical drama series ‘Ekhane Aakash Neel’. ‘Roshnai’ stars Kamalika Banerjee, Reshmi Sen, Ushasie Chakraborty, Sudip Mukherjee, Lekha Chatterjee, Tathagata Mukherjee among other characters.
