Rohaan Bhattacharjee teams up with Angana Royy for a new show

Bengali viewers are in for a high dose of entertainment; thanks to the leading television channels that are in a launching spree. In the recent past almost all leading channels have launched new shows, some of which are much-awaited ones. Leena Ganguly’s new show ‘Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasa’, that features Aparajita Adhya, Chandan Sen, Anusha Viswanathan and Arnab Banerjee, has already caught the attention of the audience because of its ensemble star cast and interesting storyline.Yet another channel launched its new show ‘Mili’ on the same day. It features Anubhav Kanjilal, Kheyali Mondal and Dhrubojyoti Sarkar. Mili’s refreshing starcast and its storyline that promises to be a bit different from saas-bahu drama, has also set hopes high. And it seems, Bengali audiences are set for yet another surprise. Two popular stars are teaming up for yet another show. Upcoming show, ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ will feature Rohaan Bhattacharjee and Angana Royy as the lead pair.
Angana, who will play the female lead in the new show, is mostly seen in web series and movies. ‘Noshto Neer’, ‘Raktokorobi’, ‘Rajlokkhi O Shreekanto’ are some of her recent OTT projects, besides this, she will also be seen in Tathagata Mukherjee’s new movie which will feature Vikram Chatterjee opposite her. Angana also played a meaty role in Radhika Apte starrer ‘Mrs. Undercover’. The young actress has already caught the attention of the audience with her performance.
Interestingly, these days, a number of artists who predominantly worked in movies or digital media, are foraying into small screen. And the list includes, Anusha, who is playing Aparajita Adhya’s daughter in ‘Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasa’, Anubhav, who made his TV debut with ‘Mili’, Adrit Roy in ‘Mithai’ and Aryann Bhowmik in ‘Titli’ among others.
Coming back to ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’, Rohaan will be seen playing a completely different avatar in the show unlike his previous projects ‘Aparajita Apu’, ‘Koler Bou’ and ‘Bhojo Gobindo’. The actor was away from small screen for past few months, after ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 4’. In the meantime, Rohaan shot for a few Bengali web series and also worked in a Hindi movie. But his fans were eager to see the actor on small screen. Well, the wait is over.
