Bengali audiences are in for some power-packed entertainment this season. A variety of Bengali movies, web series and TV shows are in the pipeline waiting for their premiere and to take the entertainment quotient a few degrees higher. One of the upcoming web series will feature two popular faces of Bengali television industry, Madhumita Sarcar and Rohaan Bhattacharjee, as a pair. The duo teamed up for web series ‘Jaatiswar’.
The actors have recently wrapped up the shoot for ‘Jaatiswar’. The cast and crew enjoyed some lighter moments together after days of hard work.
This is the first time they have paired up and had a good time working together. It has been a hectic schedule for the duo as they have a few other commitments as well. While Rohaan will be busy with the shooting of Dev’s upcoming movie ‘Baghajatin’, he also has his first Hindi movie which will roll out soon. Rohaan is paired opposite actress Shruti Das of ‘X= Prem’ fame for his debut Hindi movie.
On the other hand, Madhumita is also a busy bee. She has offers of both movie and OTT projects.
‘Jatiswar’ will narrate an interesting story that will follow female protagonist Rupkotha and her journey. She is a photographer. Rupkotha is originally from Chandannagar, Hoogly district, but stays in Kolkata for her work.
While everything seems to be almost perfect in her life, things drastically change because of a blast from the past.
