Reality show ‘Super Singer Season 2’ to launch soon

Singing reality show ‘Super Singer’, which entertained the Bengali audience with its first season, is set to have a second inning soon. The last season concluded its journey in October 2020, declaring Contestant Sanchari Sengupta as the winner. She also won the Popular Choice award.
Contestants Mayuri Saha won the second place while Deepmala Haldar bagged the third prizes. Popular actor Jisshu U Sengupta hosted the reality show. ‘Super Singer’ initially welcomed Kavita Krishnamurthy, Kumar Sanu and Jeet Ganguly as the judges. However, there was a change in the panel of judges after once the shoot started post-lockdown. Shaan, Lopamudra, Abhijeet and Rupankar joined the show as the judges.
It will be interesting to see who would be judges this season.
Meanwhile, yet another reality show ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 2’, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Dev and Monami Ghosh is inching towards its finale. The dance reality show features some of the impeccably talented young dancers this season.
Besides, ‘Super Singer Season 2’, some other shows are in the pipeline awaiting launch. ‘Sree Krishna Bhakto Meera’, ‘Dhulokona’ and ‘Mon Phagun’ will be launched on the same television channel. Meanwhile, yet another rival channel is set to launch ‘Sarbajaya’, starring Debashree Roy, Kushal Chakraborty and others. It will mark as the comeback show of the veteran film actress who stayed away from the limelight for a long time.
