'Rannaghar' host Sudipa Chatterjee tests positive for COVID

Popular TV show host Sudipa Chatterjee has tested positive for COVID. She has fever, sore throat, body ache, and other symptoms. Sources suggest, although Sudipa has tested positive for COVID, husband Agnidev has tested negative for the virus. Sudipa is in home isolation. She has cancelled upcoming shooting schedules. Mom Sudipa is a bit upset since she has to stay away from son Aadidev.
Meanwhile, the spike in COVID cases in Bengali entertainment industry both film and television, has become a serious issue.In the past few days, several artists, technicians, and crew members have tested positive for COVID. After Adrija Addy Roy, her rumoured beau Krushal Ahuja is also COVID positive. Krushal, who is currently shooting for Hindi show ‘Rishton Ka Manjha’, is currently in home isolation and unable to shoot. Adrija is also in home isolation. Actor Indranil Chatterjee has also tested positive and isn’t attending the shooting of ‘Aaye Tobe Sohochori’.
In the recent past, several actors including Rudranil Ghosh, Subhashree Ganguly, and her director-producer hubby Raj Chakraborty, Reshmi Sen, and her son Riddhi Sen have tested positive. Dev, on the other hand, has recovered. Dev's latest COVID report came negative although the actor shared, that he would complete his isolation and consult the doctor before stepping out. Director and producer Susanta Das, who also tested positive for COVID, is on his road to recovery.
