It’s Raksha Bandhan and like all other sisters, actress Geet Roy is celebrating it with full enthusiasm. She is blessed with a younger brother, who is her friend, confidante, and partner in crime too!
“I woke up early and got ready. Before leaving for the shoot, I tied Rakhi to my younger brother Gautam’s wrist. For us, it is a very cosy celebration and we both look forward to it,” says the doting sister.
Gautam is also a familiar face to Bengali viewers. The brother and sister duo has appeared on the small screen together in non-fiction shows. Both of them are social media enthusiasts and keep entertaining the audiences with videos and reels as well.
Interestingly, Geet has both on-screen and off-screen celebrations today. “I am enjoying a festive mood today. In Mon Phagun, we will shoot for the Rakhi sequence. The show beautifully portrays the bond between Rusha and her brother Rishiraj. The show will feature a beautiful Rakhi special sequence. So, on the sets of Mon Phagun, we all will enjoy a festive mood and it’s a double celebration for me,” says the bubbly actress.
Team ‘Mon Phagun’ is having a very hectic shoot these days but Geet doesn’t mind. She says, “We are having a hectic shoot schedule but I don’t mind. We are like a big happy family who never shies away from having fun.”
