Puber Moyna: Roddur takes part in the ‘Gaye Holud’ ritual ahead of his wedding

‘Puber Moyna’ is gearing up for the wedding of the male protagonist of the show, Roddur. As per the current track of the show, Moyna, along with her family, has arrived at the Dasgupta residence and is going to take part in Roddur’s wedding.
When the Dasgupta family decided to go ahead with Roddur and Gunja’s wedding, Roddur’s mother Ronjaboti began the pre-wedding rituals by blessing her would-be daughter-in-law Gunja.During the ‘Ashirbaad’ ceremony, Roddur noticed Shreyash clicking Gunja’s photos and objected to the same. However, that did not go down well with Gunja’s father.
After a few days, Roddur spotted Gunja with Shreyash enjoying an ice cream. Just before that, Gunja had lied to Roddur and refused to meet him citing her illness as a reason. Seeing Gunja out and about in good health, Roddur confronted Gunja for lying. However, Gunja did not admit her fault and kept arguing with him. Roddur came home that day in a bitter mood and told Ronjaboti about Gunja lying to him.

Meanwhile, as the wedding day came closer, Gunja and Shreyash began plotting their escape. Gunja kept complaining about Roddur to her parents and told them that she was scared to get married to him. However, Gunja’s mother sensed something fishy going on with Shreyash.
On the other hand, Moyna, along with her family, arrived at the Dasgupta residence ahead of Roddur’s wedding. Moyna braced herself and kickstarted the arrangements for Roddur’s Sangeet. Roddur called Gunja’s family and invited all of them to the function. Shreyash accompanied Gunja and her family to Roddur’r residence to partake in the Sangeet ceremony. Moyna and Roddur’s cousins coaxed Roddur and Gunja to perform a couple-dance. Moyna too danced to a song and won everyone’s heart. However, Gunja did not defer from her habit of humiliating Moyna for no reason. Roddur got angry at Gunja’s words and asked her to apologise. Gunja refused to do so.
After the Sangeet ceremony, it was time for the Aiburobhaat. Roddur’s Aiburobhaat was arranged at the Dasgupta residence. The elders blessed Roddur for the new chapter in his life and the youngstars enjoyed the ritual thoroughly. However, Gunja’s Aiburobhaat was interrupted by Shreyash, who was constantly clicking her photos. Gunja’s mother rebuked Shreyash. However, her stress did not subside.

On the day of the wedding, Roddur came down for his Gay Holud ritual. Everyone took part in the ritual and it was so much fun. When Moyna went ahead to apply the Holud on Roddur, they engaged in banter. During their playful banter, the container of Holud toppled over Moyna.
‘Puber Moyna’, starring Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Aishani De, aims to tell the story of Roddur Dasgupta, a young man from a uniquely dysfunctional family where no one gets along and Moyna, a girl from Bangladesh with a traumatic past. Roddur's family is infamous in their locality for their constant bickering, leading Roddur to vow never to marry. Moyna, who was married to a man from Bangladesh, with nefarious intentions, escapes from her dire situation and finds herself on the run. By chance, she encounters Roddur's mother, Ronjaboti and manages to save her belongings from thieves. Ronjaboti eventually gives her shelter.
Moyna's simplicity and warmth gradually win over Roddur's family, bringing them closer together. Unaware of Moyna's past, Roddur marries her and Moyna eventually reveals her story to him. Roddur is initially shocked and outraged but chooses to keep her secret from the rest of the family. Just when it seems Moyna may find peace and happiness, her past resurfaces, threatening to disrupt their newfound harmony.
