On the occasion of Shiv Ratri, Bengali television has lined up special episodes of its popular shows. Almost every channel has some interesting lineups keeping the occasion in mind. Daily soap ‘Pherari Mon’, starring Sudipta Roy and Bipul Patra as the lead characters, is gearing up for some interesting tweaks in the storyline too.
The revenge-drama revolving around young individuals Agni and Tulsi will soon take a new turn. The duo is poles apart by nature and simply can’t stand each other. In fact, their wedding was also part of a plan because Tulsi wanted to teach Agni a lesson since he ruined her life. But following the rules of Indian soap opera, things suddenly change when Agni meets with an accident. His life is in danger and like an adarsh wife, Tulsi not only has a change of heart but also performs puja on Shiv Ratri. She walks through a difficult path and decides to go to Tarakeshwar for the sake of her hubby’s life. Tulsi faces a lot of hardship to reach Tarakeshwar and pray to Bhole Baba. There is no doubt that with this track, Tulsi-Agni’s tale will take a different path. While there will be a lot of drama in store for the audience, it will be interesting to see whether Tulsi and Agni finally work on their differences and start a new journey.
Besides this, daily soaps ‘Mithai’, ‘Gouri Elo’, and others also have some special episodes which will be aired on Shiv Ratri. In Mohana Maity and Biswarup Bandyopadhyay starrer ‘Gouri Elo’, the audience will see how protagonist Gouri, who is very pious by nature, worships Lord Shiva. While she performs all the rituals, and defeats antagonist Shaila Maa in every step, Gouri also finds out an interesting fact. Lord Shiva appears in front of her in a different avatar.
On the other hand, Bengali TV’s yet another popular show ‘Mithai’ also has an interesting episode on the occasion of ‘Shiv Ratri’.
