Popular television actor
Vikram Chatterjee has submitted a plea to the
Alipore court
seeking relief from
Sonika Singh Chauhan
accident case. In 2017, actress and model Sonika died in a car accident leaving
Vikram severely injured.
According to the police sources, Vikram was driving the car. The actor was previously arrested and later granted a bail.
In a plea submitted to the court, Vikram’s lawyer has shared that the police is yet to prove that Vikram was driving the car under influence of alcohol. No other additional proofs have been submitted against the actor. Under such circumstances, the actor should be relieved.
Next hearing regarding this plea will be in October.
The actor is presently seen in the serial ‘
Phagun Bou
’. He is playing the lead role opposite actress Oindrila Sen. The show is quite popular among the viewers. It scores well on the TRP charts too. Vikram and Oindrila were previously seen in ‘Saat Pakey Badha’, which was very popular. The on-screen chemistry between the actors is well appreciated by the audience.
