Period-drama ‘Rani Rashmomi’ completes 1500

Bengali daily soap ‘Rani Rashmoni’ has completed 1500 episodes. The cast and crew had a gala time as they celebrated their new milestone on the sets of ‘Rani Rashmoni’. Actors Sourav Saha, Suman Dey, Sushmili Acharjee, Sandipta Sen, Mimi Dutta, Promita Chakrabartty, Diya Chakraborty and others had a gala time with the entire unit as they enjoyed a cosy party. A customised cake was brought and team ‘Rani Rashmoni’ had a good time together.They took out some time from their busy schedule and let the celebratory mood soak in.
The period-drama was launched in July 2017 and managed to strike a chord with the audience. Ditipriya Roy and Gazi Abdun Noor played the lead roles in the show. Ditipriya was quite young when she was roped in for the show. She played the role of a much older character quite convincingly. Noor and Ditipriya became a household name; thanks to the popular period-drama.
Few months back, Ditipriya’s part in the show came to an end. Actress Mimi Dutta recently joined the cast. She replaced Roshni in the show and is currently essaying Jagadamba’s character. Gourab Chatterjee, on the other hand, played Mathuramohan Biswas in ‘Rani Rashmoni’. His part also came to an end in the show.
