When quizzed about how she prepared herself for the role, Payel said, “I had to take a lot of preparation to get into the skin of the character. Now, I am trying to learn how to read namaaz. I also learnt how to wear a

hijab

from the internet. I am really very excited about the show. So, keeping my fingers crossed. The rest is up to my audience as how they will accept me in the new avatar.”
