Om Sahani approached for a TV show?

A number of Bengali actors, who were mostly seen in movies, are concentrating on small screen these days. Be it fiction or non fiction, television shows are slowly becoming the most sought after choices for the celebs these days; thanks to its choice. While, artists Subhashree Ganguly, Jeet, Dev, Rukmini Maitra, Abir Chatterjee, Srabanti Chatterjee, Jissu U Sengupta, appear on popular non-fiction shows, actors Devlina Kumar, Adrit Roy, Aryann Bhowmik have done daily soaps.And some celebs have tasted immense success on small screen too.
The latest news is, yet another movie actor has been approached by a leading channel for their upcoming television show. According to industry sources, Om Sahani, who started his career from television and eventually moved to silver screen, has been approached for an upcoming show. The channel is keen on casting him as the male lead in their upcoming show. However, discussion is still on and things are in primary stage.
Prior to this Om was seen on the small screen as the celebrity mentor in reality series ‘Dance Bangla Dance Season 11’. He also was a part of one of the stories in ‘Lockdown Diary’.
Speaking about his career, Om made his movie debut with ‘Arjun–Kalimpong E Sitaharan’ and went on to feature in the films, ‘Action’, ‘Agnee 2’, ‘Hullor’ among others. He will also be a part of Rukmini Maitra’s upcoming movie, ‘Binodini - Ekti Natir Upakhyan’.
It will be worth a wait to watch whether Om says yes to the small screen project.
