Oindrila denies accusations made by late actress Pallavi Dey’s family; says, “all the allegations are baseless; never met Sagnik alone”

Mystery around actress Pallavi Dey's demise is intensifying. Her live-in partner Sagnik Chakraborty has been interrogated by police in the presence of higher officials of Kolkata police the entire night and he is still in the police station. Meanwhile, the girl named Oindrila, against whom Pallavi’s family had filed a written complaint alleging her as the ‘co-conspirator’ along with Sagnik, broke her silence.She claimed that she wasn’t Sagnik’s friend but Pallavi’s old friend.
Today morning, while addressing the media, Oindrila said, “All the allegations are baseless. I never met Sagnik alone. Every time I met him, Pallavi was there.”
When asked whether she is aware of the monetary transactions made by the late actress for her live-in boyfriend Sagnik, she said, “I had exchanged texts with her and we had a normal conversation. Why would I be aware of the money transactions between them?” Oindrila, who called herself Pallavi’s old friend, also denies visiting the latter’s flat in Garfa. She strongly reacted and said, “I never went to their flat. There are security guards at her flat I have heard, anyone can verify that.”
Oindrila shared that she met the late actress at a recent party, too.

Meanwhile, Pallavi’s family members have alleged that the late actress had to pay a hefty amount of money for Sagnik’s lavish flat. Her dad mentioned in the complaint that the actress had to pay a huge money for Sagnik’s flat which costs Rs. 80 lakh although the ownership is under his name. They have also alleged that Pallavi and Sagnik had joint bank accounts. Police have sought account statements from the respective banks. Sagnik, who claimed that the actress was depressed because of work, is still being interrogated.
