on Monday after a gap of two weeks. The actress had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 3.

She was on the shooting floors when she suddenly lost her sense of smell. “I poured myself a cup of coffee and realised that I can’t smell it. That was on April 2. I immediately raised an alarm, isolated myself and got the test done. My ongoing scene was shot outside the main shooting space with only the

and director present at a distance. After that, I was immediately sent back home and got my positive report the next day,” she said.

Elaborating the measures she took besides having medicines, she said, “I had to ditch my PCOD diet and increase the amount of protein such as eggs, fish, chicken etc. Besides, my food intake has gone up. I am having more rice than before. I am having a lot of fruits, especially citrus fruits for vitamin C. I'm still continuing with multivitamins, vitamin C and D capsules in accordance to my physician’s advice,” Shruti Das.
