New Bengali show ‘Tomaay Hrid Majhare Raakhbo’ is all about love and sacrifice

Gear up for some wholesome entertainment as popular Bengali channels are ready with a platter full of versatile entertainment. Three new shows are set to premiere today (June 6) on different TV channels. Besides television show ‘Yuganayak Swami Vivekananda’ and ‘Tumii Je Amar Maa’, ‘Tomaay Hrid Majhare Raakbo’ will also have its launch today (June 6).While ‘Yuganayak Swami Vivekananda’ is based on Swamiji’s life, Suman Dey-Priya Mondal starrer ‘Tumii Je Amar Maa’ will narrate the story of a little girl who is in search of a woman who could be her mother. ‘Tomaay Hrid Majhare Raakhbo’, on the other hand, will narrate a story of love and sacrifice.
The storyline of ‘Tomaay Hrid Majhare Raakhbo’ revolves around the Roychowdhury family. The family has a rich legacy although their prosperity is diminishing with time. The Roychowdhury family is blessed with two beautiful daughters Meera and Radha.
Being the elder sister Meera takes up the responsibility of her family and sacrifices her dreams. She drops out and starts earning to make ends meet. Young and bubbly Radha is a meritorious student and aspires to become a lawyer. Their life takes a sudden turn when a guy named Shyam makes an entry into their lives. What happens with the sisters when the duo falls in love with the same person and who makes the sacrifice, form the major crux of the story.
The TV show has an ensemble cast that includes senior artists Kushal Chakraborty, Pushpita Mukherjee. On the other hand, Katha Chakraborty and Priyantika Karmakar are playing the female leads in the show. Shyam’s character will be played by actor Parthiv Banerjee.
