COVID-19

is still on. The global pandemic that has changed almost everything around us has claimed numerous lives leaving behind a scar. The second wave of the pandemic has left India in a tough spot. Meanwhile, the shortage of hospital beds and lack of oxygen supply made the situation tougher. Common citizens and celebrities have stepped up to help amid the crisis. They have been actively sharing information regarding the available hospital beds, oxygen cylinders, plasma donors and other topics. A number of celebrities have decided to help affected families, while a few donated blood. Celeb couple Neel Bhattacharya-Trina Saha is the latest one to join the list. The two donated blood and have urged their fans to do the same before getting vaccinated. The couple has shared a photo on their social media handle, too.

Neel and Trina aren’t alone, actors Anindita Ray Choudhury,

Arijit Chatterjee

and many other actors have donated blood. Recently, actor Jeetu Kamal and his wife have set up a fund to help the needy people who are affected by the pandemic.

Actors Mainak Banerjee, Anindita, Sounak Ray, Swastika Mukherjee, Abir Chatterjee, director Srijit Mukherji and many others have been using their social media handles to share relevant information about govt hospital, medicine, oxygen cylinders and other topics.

Speaking about Neel and Trina, the couple got married in February. It was a star-studded wedding attended by celebrities. On the work front, they are doing good as well. Neel is playing the male lead in the popular TV show ‘Krishnakoli’. Trina, on the other hand, is essaying the female lead in ‘Khorkuto’, yet another popular daily soap.
