Nabanita Das-Indrajit Chakraborty starrer ‘Deep Jwele Jai’ to have its Hindi remake?
A number of Bengali television shows are being remade in Hindi as well as other regional languages. Be it Sreemoyee’s Hindi version ‘Anupamaa’, which is rocking the TRP charts with good numbers or Krishnakoli’s Telugu remake ‘Krishna Tulasi’- hit Bengali TV shows are making their way to the drawing rooms and entertaining the TV viewers in other languages.
The latest talk of the town is ‘Deep Jwele Jai’ is having its Hindi remake. Interestingly, the Hindi show will be mostly shot in Kolkata. It will be produced by Susanta Das who originally made the show which turned out to be a huge hit.
Rumours are doing the rounds that Susanta is making a Hindi TV show though he never revealed anything.
Meanwhile, the show will feature a number of popular Bengali actors who are also proficient in Hindi. Auditions were also held to cast the lead pair and for other characters.
Interestingly, Swastika Dutta and Rohan Bhattacharya starrer ‘Bhojo Gobindo’ was also remade in Hindi.
