Mithijhora Promo: Nilu pops sleeping pills during Rai’s marriage ceremony

Rai and Anirban’s story is finally picking up pace in ‘Mithijhora’. The Bengali television show is set to witness the marriage of Rai and Anirban. As per the current track of ‘Mithijhora’, Rai and Anirban have finally confessed their feelings to each other and are set to get married. Anirban proposed to Rai in front of her family members after planning the surprise with Rai’s younger sister Srot.After Rai confessed her feelings to Anirban, he went to Rai’s place to ask for her hand in marriage. Anirban sought Rai’s mother’s blessings and everyone except Nilu agreed to the marriage.
However, Rai and Anirban are set to marry each other with the blessings of their families. Rai and Anirban’s take part in the Gaye Holud (Haldi) ceremony as part of their pre-wedding rituals. Sourya and his family are also present during the wedding rituals. However, Sourya refuses to acknowledge Nilu or speak with her. As Nilu comes out to greet Sourya, he walks away. Nilu is devastated by Sourya’s behaviour and vents all her anger out on Rai. Rai too is heartbroken to see her sister like that on the occasion of her wedding. In the evening, as the groom's squad arrives at Rai’s door for the wedding ceremony, Rai notices Sourya being all jovial with everyone present at the event. However, when Rai looks for Nilu, she doesn’t find her. As Rai and Anirban sit for their marriage ceremony, Rai’s mother turns up bearing the bad news.

What will happen now?
‘Mithijhora’, a popular Bengali television show, stars Aratrika Maity, Debadrita Basu and Swapnila Chakrabarty as three sisters. As per the story of the show, Raipurna, Nilanjana and Srowtashini are three sisters. They love each other from the depths of their heart. They have an elder brother Vikram who is physically impaired. So, their only job holder is their father, Kingshuk. Raipurna loves Sourya. So, they would get married. But on the day of their marriage, Kingshuk dies. In these circumstances, to take responsibility for her family, she gets Nilanjana and Sourya married without their knowledge. As a result, everyone misunderstands Raipurna. As the story progresses, Rai becomes the sole breadwinner of the family. Anirban Sen (played by Suman Dey), a businessman and entrepreneur, comes into the picture much later. Rai and Anirban come close and find companionship in each other.
