‘Mithai’ continues to rule the TRP charts; ‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’ gives a tough competition

TRP report this week, has some interesting entries while some shows slipped out of top five club.
Mithai and her Uchchebabu’s story continues to cast its spell on TRP charts. The Adrit Roy-Soumitrisha Kundoo starrer has bagged the numero uno spot on TRP charts. The show has already completed one year on Bengali television and managed to glue the audience to the TV screen with its simple storyline.
‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’ on the other hand, has declared its presence out loud on TRP charts. This new show has been high on drama since its premiere. Protagonist Khukumoni’s rowdy attitude with wrongdoers and affectionate behaviour towards Bihan, managed to impress the audience it seems. The show has been scoring well since its launch and this week is in the second spot. Dipanwita Rakshit is playing Khukumoni’s role while Bihan is played by Rahul Mazumdar.
Cricket aspirant Uma and her story also impressed the audience this week and it is in the third spot. The recent storyline revolves around Abhi and Alia’s proposed wedding which will soon witness a twist. Neel Bhattacharya and Shinjinee Chakraborty are playing the lead roles.
Interestingly, fourth spot has an interesting entry. Syed Arefin and Swikriti Majumder starrer ‘Khelaghor’ can be spotted in the top five club after a long time. The crisis in Santu and Purna’s life seems to have worked in its favour.
Newly launched ‘Gantchhora’ is in the fifth spot this week. Solanki Roy, Gourab Chatterjee, Shreema Bhattacherjee, and Anindya Chatterjee are playing prominent roles in the show which started scoring well since its opening week.
‘Aparajita Apu’, ‘Jamuna Dhaki’, ‘Sarbojaya’ have slipped a bit in terms of TRP. All three shows can be mostly spotted among the top five daily soaps.
