Manali Manisha Dey-Indrasish Roy starrer Dhulokona crosses 300 episodes
Bengali daily soap ‘Dhulokona’ has successfully completed 300 episodes. Launched in July 2021, ‘Dhulokona’ has actors Indrasish Roy and Manali Manisha Dey in the lead roles. The cast and crew are in a celebratory mood as their show has crossed a new milestone.
The daily soap, which has been scoring quite well for past few weeks and was spotted at the numero uno spot on the TRP charts as well, narrates Lalan and Phuljhuri’s story. Both the protagonists are from financially weak backgrounds and have seen a lot of struggles on their way. But despite witnessing several hurdles Phuljhuri, who works as a househelp keeps her dream alive. Lalan, an aspirant singer, too walks towards achieving his dream of becoming a singer. To make the ends meet, Lalan works as a driver at a household and performs at stage shows.
The realistic touch in the storyline helped ‘Dhulokona’ strike a chord with the audience. Leena Gangopadhyay is writing the story.
‘Dhulokona’ has an ensemble cast and features some of the finest artists of this entertainment industry including Sabitri Chatterjee, Ratna Ghosal, Shankar Chakraborty, Badshah Moitra, Rita Dutta Chakraborty and many others. It also features Sweta Mishra in a negative role.
Indrasish and Manali’s jodi has become quite a hit. The reel pair looks quite convincing as Lalan-Puljhuri and they enjoy a good fan base. Indrasish, who rose to fame with ‘Gaaner Oparey’, made a comeback with this show on Bengali TV after a brief break.
