and Manali said she needed no extra preparation for the role. “After a while, I am playing the lead on TV and followed Leenadi’s (Gangopadhyay) instructions to the T. On the floor, our director, Shoojit Pyne, also told me how to go about the role. I seriously didn’t have to work hard,” she said. Manali said though the serial is aired five days a week, the ratings are so good that it can be compared to a seven-day serial. “The viewers have given us a lot of love and what more can you ask for,” she added.
