Manali celebrates birthday with friends and family

Manali Manisha Dey is working on her birthday today. “Yesterday, post-shooting, I went to my father’s place. My husband Abhimanyu Mukherjee joined us. We had a gala dinner to bring in my birthday. Needless to say, biryani, chaap and firni were on the menu! Then at midnight, baba organised a cake and I cut it,” said Manali, who essays the character of Phuljhuri Das in the serial Dhulokona.Talking more about her birthday plans, Manali said, “Today, in the morning, I had an early call time for Dhulokona. But I was surprised when I reached the sets. My makeup room was decorated with balloons, the makeup artist prepared payesh for me, and my friends got a cake for me — I was overwhelmed by the love and affection from the team. A special lunch was cooked by the crew to celebrate my birthday,” said the actress.
At night the actress has a small party at home which will be attended by her father and grandfather. “My mother-in-law is cooking mutton, pulao and payesh for me. My birthday party with friends will happen over the weekend. My husband has gifted me a lovely dress while Baba has gifted me a phone,” shared Manali.
