‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’ completes two years

Mythological show ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’ has successfully completed two years on Bengali television. It stars Nabanita Das and Sabyasachi Chowdhury playing prominent roles. It is a joyous moment for the cast and crew as ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’ has crossed yet another milestone. Recently, the show also completed 500 episodes and the team celebrated the achievement on the shooting set.
Launched in February 2019, ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’, features an ensemble.‘Deep Jwele Jai’ and ‘Ardhangini’ fame actress Nabanita is essaying Maa Tara’s role. Sabyasachi, on the other hand, is playing Bamakhyapa. Actress Roosha Chatterjee, who has been a part of many TV serials like ‘Ogo Bodhu Sundori’, ‘Tomay Amay Mile’, ‘Kusuk Dola’, ‘Saat Bhai Champa’ and others, is essaying Rani Annada Sundari’s character.
Besides them, many popular actors have been a part of the show and played meaty roles in the last two years. Kushal Chakraborty, Jeetu Kamal, Mishmee Das, Sayantani Sengupta, Sagnik Chatterjee, Prriyam Chakraborty and others. The show is popular for its crisp Narration.
Sabyasachi, has been praised by the audience for his performance as Bamakhyapa. The actor has undergone a huge transformation to look convincing on screen. He is sporting long hair and beard to look convincing. The show has earned him name and fame. Prior to this, Sabyasachi has been a part of ‘Jhumur’, ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ and ‘Saat Bhai Champa’.
‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’ scores decently on the TRP charts despite running for two years. Crisp narration and the performance of the artists have kept the audience glued to the television screen.
