’, has joined the cast of popular mythological television show ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’. In the show, she is playing Satyamati’s character in the show. Unlike her past project ‘Titli’, Madhupriya is seen in a completely different avatar, playing the role of a village belle. Draped in a cotton saree and bindi, Madhupriya looked unrecognisable as Satyamati.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that the show is likely to end soon. The mythological show featuring Sabyasachi Chowdhury and

in lead roles, has managed to entertain the audience with its interesting storytelling. Launched in 2019, the show is currently having a successful run on Bengali television and the makers are trying their best to keep the storyline interesting.

Speaking about Madhupriya, the model-turned-actress became a household name by playing the titular role in TV show ‘Titli’ in which she played the role of a girl who suffers from hearing issues. But that couldn’t dampen Titli’s spirit to chase her dream to become a pilot. Actor Aryann Bhowmik was paired opposite him in the show which had an ensemble cast.
