Actor Om Sahani, who started his career with small screen and eventually shifted to movies, is back! After a long time he will be a part of a fiction drama. Although Om kept his bond with the small screen intact by making appearances in reality shows as celeb participant and mentor (in Dance Bangla Dance 11), he wasn’t seen in a daily soap. ‘Love Biye Aajkal’ has a catchy storyline. Om plays a successful entrepreneur who owns a chain of hotels and bars. Story’s heroine on the other hand, is a singer who is compelled to take up the job of a bar singer. Omkar is rich, influential and snob. He thinks money can buy everything. Two new shows ‘Love Biye Aajkal’ and ‘Tomader Rani’ caught the audience with the very first glimpse because of its storyline. Both the shows promise to bring some changes in Bengali TV which is dominated by saas-bahu sagas. While Love Biye Aaj Kaal’s female lead works as a bar singer and Tomader Rani’s heroine is a young mom who clears medical entrance during pregnancy. By the time the entrance result is declared, she has a baby.
