Looking forward to our new journey: Actress Alokananda Guha ahead of her big day

It’s a dream come true moment for actress Alokananda Guha and beau Monojit Majumder. The lovebirds are set to start a new chapter of life together today (February 2). “It’s indeed a big day for us. We will exchange rings today. We will also have our registry marriage,” says the bride-to-be. The star-studded ceremony will be held at a plush city hotel.The couple will have a traditional wedding later this month.

From her outfit to her special look, Alokananda has finalised everything long ago. “I will wear a designer gown. It has a princess vibe and of course, there will be a tiara,” shares the actress with a shy smile on her face.
Interestingly, Alokananda’s beau Monojit, who is a director, has a very busy schedule today. He is quite a workaholic. “Monojit has a hectic schedule today and will be busy till afternoon. He will take a half-day off and we have been teasing him about this,” Alokananda laughed while sharing.
The couple will also have their Sangeet night today. Alokananda’s younger sister Ananya, who is also a popular artist, is very much excited about the ceremony. “My sister is very much excited about it. She will perform in the Sangeet ceremony. Ananya has been busy remembering her dance steps and finalising the outfits she will be wearing during the event and her performance,” shares Alokananda.
Monojit and Alokananda will have a traditional wedding ceremony later. “We are originally from Kalyani. So, the traditional wedding will be hosted in there,” she says. When asked whether she is nervous about her big day, she says, “To be honest, I am not very nervous (laughs). It’s an important day for us. We will start a new chapter of life together and I’m looking forward to it.”
