The show which started with the story of two kids, has undergone several twists and turns, following which Guddu (now played by Arya Dasgupta) and Guriya (now played by

Pratyusha Paul

) have not only grown up but have faced a lot of conspiracies too. While, Guriya aka Rikhika was forced to get married to Sukumar, Guddu aka Rocky is framed with charges of murder of Guriya’s mother.

The character Sukumar is played by Jeetu Kamal while little Krittika Chakraborty is playing his daughter’s (Phuljhuri) role. With the entry of Sukumar and Phuljhuri, the storyline has taken a new track. Sukumar shares a good rapport with the family of his late wife and Liza is part of that extended family. Actor Debjoy Mallick will play Liza’s husband in the show. Pretty soon, Liza will soon be seen having a face-off with Rikhiya.

With the introduction of ,many new characters, the show ‘Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane’ will take a new spin-off. It will be interesting to see how it scores on the TRP chart.
