Lily Chakravarty returns to ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ after prolonged illness; celebrates the completion of 500 episodes milestone

Veteran Bengali actress Lily Chakravarty is back on the sets again. The veteran actress has been absent from her current serial for a long time due to illness. Lily Chakraborty plays the part of Hemnalini Dutta, the grandmother of Srijan and Parna. The actress has not been seen in the popular Bengali television show ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ for quite some time. The veteran actress was not keeping well. The 82 year old actress was admitted to a hospital due to ill health. After spending almost two weeks in the hospital, Lily Chakravarty came back home last month. She took some more time to recover and now she is back on the set of ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’.

‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ recently celebrated the milestone of 500 episodes completion. The cast and crew of the popular Bengali daily celebrated the special occasion by cutting cake and giving away mementos to the cast and crew. Lily Chakravarty came back to the set and the actress graced the stage as well.

Lily Chakravarty is a fairly well-known actress in Bengali film industry. The veteran actress has been working in Bengali films since 60’s. Even in her 80’s she is still very much active in her respective field. The veteran actress has always maintained that she finds joy in and from her work. Lily Chakravarty has also worked in Hindi web series ‘Forbidden Love’. The veteran actress is now all set to return as Hemnalini Devi on ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’.
