Late actor Abhishek Chatterjee’s daughter Saina attends first day of school; misses her father

Bengali actor Abhishek Chatterjee’s sudden demise has left a void that can never be fulfilled. His family is yet to come out of the huge loss. The senior artist, who passed away on March 24, was a complete family man. His life used to revolve around wife Sanjukta, daughter Doll and his work.

Abhishek’s daughter Saina has been promoted to class VII and today is the first day of her school. Saina is studying in a reputed private school. Mom Sanjukta decided to encourage Saina to attend classes today so that her grieving daughter can slowly adapt to the normal rhythm of life.

Following the routine, the young student got ready for school. Sanjukta shared a photo of Saina holding her dad Abhishek’s giant portrait on the wall as she leaves for school. The photo of the young girl seeking Abhishek’s blessings has left everyone deeply emotional.

The passionate actor, who gave several hit Bengali films in 80’s and 90’s, made his debut with eminent director Tarun Majumder’s movie ‘Pathbhola’. He was one of the most popular actors of Bengali silver screen and enjoyed a huge fan base.

For the past few years, he was active on television besides doing movies. He was last seen in the reality show ‘Ismart Jodi’ alongside his wife Sanjukta. He was also working in the TV show ‘Khorkuto’.
