Krishnakoli: The reason behind Nikhil-Amrapali’s marriage leaves Basanta-Sujata in shock

Neel Bhattacharya, Tiyasha Roy and Rimjhim Mitra starrer Krishnakoli has topped the TRP charts post-lockdown. The makers have introduced a new twist by bringing Disha in her full form. Following her conspiracy, Amrapali consumes poisonous food and is in the hospital.
In the latest episode, Amrapali’s parents reach the hospital. Her dad Nirmal blames Nikhil for his daughter’s condition, while Monoroma pleads him to reveal the truth behind Amrapali’s sudden illness.
An angry Nirmal asks Nikhil to let his daughter live safely. Nikhil, who was already feeling guilty, turns emotional and promises to do everything to save her. He also promises to leave her once Amrapali gets well.
Ashoke defends his brother. Meanwhile, the doctor comes and shares that Amrapali is still not well. This leaves everyone devastated.
At home, Basanta and Sujata learn that Nikhil has decided not to bring Amrapali back home once she is discharged from the hospital. They don’t support the decision. Nikhil makes it clear that he can’t put Amrapali’s life at risk anymore.
Ashoke and Disha try to play their game taking advantage of the situation. They try to prove Nikhil’s decision to marry Amrapali was wrong.
Nikhil hints he is ready for a divorce if that helps Amrapali stay safe. The family members get utterly shocked but Disha and Ashoke are happy.
Later, Ashoke tells his parents that Nikhil married Amrapali to find out Shyama’s murderers. He never loved her. Basanta and Sujata are unable to accept the truth.
Nikhil feels guilty.
