Krishnakoli: Ashok’s prosthetic makeup becomes fodder for trolls

Bengali television serial ‘Krishnakoli’ has reportedly become fodder for trolls yet again, this time, for using prosthetic make-up in the storyline. The recent storyline showed how elder brother Ashok took Nikhil’s avatar using prosthetic make-up and strangulated Arun.

Bengali television serial ‘Krishnakoli’ has reportedly become fodder for trolls yet again, this time, for using prosthetic make-up in the storyline. The recent storyline showed how elder brother Ashok took Nikhil’s avatar using prosthetic make-up and strangulated Arun.
The CCTV footage shows that Nikhil is responsible for the heinous crime although he is innocent.
As soon as the promo went on-air, netizens started posing questions to the makers. They asked how prosthetic make-up could actually make someone look accurately like someone else. Some netizens even questioned how Ashok’s fingers suddenly looked like Nikhil’s. The new storyline has become a fodder for trolls on social media.

It was recently, when the show made headlines for a scene which featured doctors holding scrub pads while treating a critical patient. It took the social media by storm after the scene ‘inspired’ many meme creators.
Later, the makers readily apologised and said it was an ‘unintended mistake’. The episode which was uploaded on the OTT platform had the scene while it was rectified while airing on television.
Neel Bhattacharya and Tiaysha Roy starrer ‘Krishnakoli’ is one of the most popular shows on Bengali television. Despite trolls on social media, the show enjoys a good fanbase. Meanwhile, last week too, ‘Krishnakoli’ raked the TRP charts by securing the numero uno position. It is consistently scoring well these days giving a tough fight to all other shows.
