Kothha: AV earns a prestigious recognition from the team of ‘Oti Utaam’; Kothha struggles to balance his family life

‘Kothha’ is a popular Bengali television show that narrates the journey of a couple who are chalk and cheese by nature. On one hand, the female protagonist of the show Kathakali, aka Kothha is a girl who cares deeply about familial relationships. On the other hand, the male protagonist Agniva aka AV is someone who doesn’t have a cordial relationship with his family members. Kothha and AV’s paths converge as they get married to each other despite their differences. As the story moves forward, AV, an excellent chef, refuses to take his family business forward and gets started with his café in the city. Meanwhile, Kothha and AV are now a married couple. As per the recent storyline, AV earns the prestigious recognition of a celebrity chef and receives an accolade. The cast of ‘Oti Uttam’, Gourab Chatterjee and Roshni Bhattacharya, and popular actress Srijla Guha were present during that ceremony as well.

However, the joyous occasion takes an unexpected turn when tragedy strikes the Guha family. Facing the daunting task of bridging AV's aversion to family matters, Kotha finds herself navigating a delicate balance to ensure his presence during this challenging time. Will she be able to tackle the challenge and emerge victorious?

‘Kothha’ started its journey last year with an interesting story of a girl who is exceptionally fond of trees. Kothha finds an innate connection with plants and due to her affinity toward the greens, she even is known as ‘Miss Gobor Devi’. On the other hand, ‘Oti Uttam’ is an upcoming film by filmmaker Srijit Mukherji, which is a tribute to the legendary Bengali actor Uttam Kumar who passed away in 1980 at only 53. In this film, Srijit has attempted to revive the legendary actor on screen using VFX technology. Headlined by X = Prem famed actor Anindya Sengupta and Roshni bhattacharya, Oti Uttam also features actor Gourab Chatterjee, who happens to be the grandson of Uttam Kumar. Oti Uttam releases on 22nd March.
