Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi: Sengupta family celebrate Rakhi together

As per the current track of the Bengali television show ‘Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi’, Madhubani and Rikdev are now busy gelling with the Sengupta family after they tied the knot.

After Rikdev moved back to the Sengupta residence with Madhubani and Mihi, Madhubani did her best to abide by the rules of the Sengupta family. She followed all the traditions and participated in the post-wedding rituals with Rik. However, as Kamal kept up with her evil plans to oust Rikdev and Madhubani from the family and the company, Amrita and Rumi began plotting to do the same. From manipulating Mihi to offer a bowl of chicken to their deity, to feeding her extremely spicy food – Amrita and Rumi left no stone unturned to make Mihi and Madhubani suffer.

On the other hand, Madhubani enthusiastically took part in her Boubhaat ceremony and prepared her first meal for the family. But when the guests got to know the truth about Madhubani and Mihi, they shamed the Sengupta family for their choice of daughter-in-law. Rikdev stood firm by Madhubani and Mihi’s side and spoke strongly against their prejudice. On the evening of their reception ceremony, Rishav’s friends came to the Sengupta residence. Madhubani crossed paths with Jhimli, who was the sister of Madhubani’s former love interest, Souvik. Madhubani got a shock seeing Souvik in front of her. Kamal noticed Madhubani being uncomfortable around Jhimli and Souvik and guessed that Souvik might be related to Madhubani’s past. Kamal planned to pursue Jhimli to know Madhubani and Souvik’s story.
Once all the post-wedding rituals and festivities were over, Madhubani took the responsibilities of the Sengupta family as the daughter-in-law. As Rikdev was present with the family after a long time, they decided to celebrate Rakhi together. Mihi tied Rakhi to Purnendu, as well as to her Elach Dadu. Rumi tied Rakhi to Rishav and Rikdev. Although Rumi expected cash in return as a gift, as per Madhubani’s suggestion, Rikdev gifted Rumi a book.

On the other hand, Kamal kept on digging about Souvik through Jhimli, to find out about Madhubani’s past.

‘Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi’ narrates the story of a single mother. The story of the show revolves around the struggles and plight of a single mother, and how she navigates her journey with her daughter when she falls in love with a man.

‘Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi’ stars Mohana Maity as Madhubani and Sayan Basu as the male lead. Mohana has returned to Bengali television after almost half a year. The actress rose to fame with ‘Gouri Elo’ which ran for almost two years on a popular Bengali channel. On the other hand, Sayan was last seen in the Bengali TV show ‘Tumpa Autowali’.
