June Aunty goes out on a coffee date with Anindya Da; What’s brewing?

June Aunty and Anindya Da are out and about, despite the hot and humid summer in Kolkata. The popular duo of Bengali television recently stepped out for a coffee date. Bengali TV’s ever-popular June Aunty, actress Ushasie Chakraborty posted a couple of photos with her co-star Anindya Da, aka actor Sudip Mukherjee on her social media profile. In those photos, Ushasie and Sudip are seen holding each other close and taking a selfie over a cup of coffee. Ushasie captioned the post as “'Coffe date' with my all time favourite anindoda. #amarshongi.”

Ushasie and Sudip’s crackling chemistry has been stealing the attention of the audience for a long time. The on-screen couple won over the viewers while working on the hit Bengali serial ‘Sreemoyee’. June Aunty and Anindya Da’s adultery was one of the USPs of the show. However, in reality, Ushasie and Sudip are good friends and their camaraderie hardly goes unnoticed.

Ushasie recently began a new chapter in her acting career with a new show on Bengali television. The actress is currently seen sharing the screen with none other than actor Sudip Mukherjee on ‘Roshnai’. The Leena Gangopadhyay and Saibal Banerjee helmed serial ‘Roshnai’ has Sean Banerjee as the male lead Aranyak. Anushka Goswami is seen playing the titular character on the show. Actress Lekha Chatterjee portrays the character of Garima, Aranyak’s girlfriend. Ushasie and Sudip are seen as the parents of Garima on the show.

Ushasie Chakraborty, an already established actress in the Bengali entertainment industry, garnered unparalleled popularity with her stint with ‘Sreemoyee’. She played the character of the antagonist, June Aunty, in that popular Bengali TV show. Ushasie, despite being the anti-hero, who generally becomes the object of ire of the audience – became a sensation over the course of the show.
