Joyjit Banerjee is a doting father

Joyjit Banerjee is babysitting his son Jasojeet Banerjee now that his exams are over. “He just completed his annual examinations. But his attitude says he has completed his Masters! On the last day of his examination, he told me that we should cut a cake to celebrate. Every day, he wants to watch a film and then have dinner outside. That apart, his friends are also coming over or I am dropping him to his friend’s place,” said the actor, who will be flying off to Greece on May 23 and will be back in the city on June 2.“The holiday destination is also decided by Jashojeet. It was his idea that we travel to Greece this time,” shared Joyjit. He added, “If Adventures of Jojo, part two happens, he will surely be part of it. But other than that he is not interested in doing films for now. Nothing is more important than education at this point.”
Joyjit is today busy with the puja at his new office today. “We have a production house and there’s a small puja there. We have already produced three short films and are planning for a new one,” said the actor who is a part of three mega serials.
“In Phagun Bou, I am playing a negative character while in Nakshi Kantha my character has positive shades. So by the grace of God, I am getting varied roles. In khonar Bochon, I play Raja Brikamadittya. I enjoy playing that character for I haven’t played a king before,” said Joyjit.
