Wedding bells for another Tollywood couple. According to the sources, television actor Rubel Das is all set to marry the love of his life Shweta Bhattacharya. Shweta Bhattacharya is also a well-known Bengali television actress who has been seen in popular TV soaps like ‘Jamuna Dhaki’, ‘Sohag Jol’ and currently in ‘Kon Gopone Mon Bhesheche’. As per the rumor mills, the ‘Jamuna Dhaki’ duo are gearing up to take their relationship to the next level. Amidst all these speculations, actor Rubel Das finally shared the truth of it at the stage of Sonar Sansar Awards.
Recently, Rubel has won the award for the best husband for his role Srijan Dutta in ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’. While accepting the award, Rubel was asked by the host of the award show, actor Abir Chatterjee whether the rumors about his own marriage is true or not. Rubel blushed hard at the question and although he tried his best to keep it together, his demeanor gave away the answer. Abir asked Rubel, “When are you going to wear the wedding sherwani?” to this, Rubel grinned and said, “The preparations are underway!” Shweta from the audience was seen smiling gleefully to Rubel’s reaction.
Meanwhile, sources from the tinsel town are saying that the Rubel is all set to marry Shweta in 2025. All the preparations are underway already. The industry is abuzz that, the couple has also finalized their wedding photographer as well. Rubel and Shweta worked together in one of the popular primetime shows on Bengali TV, named ‘Jamuna Dhaki’. The actors fell in love while shooting for the show. A couple of years back they announced their relationship and since then, the TV couple have shared snippets of their life together with their fans and admirers. On the work front, Rubel is now seen in ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ and Shweta is essaying the female protagonist in ‘Kon Gopone Mon Bhesheche’.
