Hindi mythological show ‘Jai Shri Krishna’ has kept the audience glued to the television screen with its dubbed version in Bengali. The show, which starred Meghan Jadhav as little Krishna, is set to air some special episodes soon on the occasion of ‘Janmashtami’.

Hindi mythological show ‘Jai Shri Krishna’ has kept the audience glued to the television screen with its dubbed version in Bengali. The show, which starred Meghan Jadhav as little Krishna, is set to air some special episodes soon on the occasion of ‘Janmashtami’.
The dubbed version of the Hindi mythological show has recently been launched by a leading Bengali General Entertainment Channel.
The upcoming week will air ‘Janmashtami’ special episodes. In story will feature Kansa and his decision to attack Gokul and Krishna. He wants the end of Krishna, his greatest enemy. He devises Bakasur who heads towards Gokul where Janmashtami is being celebrated. Yashoda and the Gopis watch little Krishna dancing. Krishna’s Bansuri woo them. Radha too enjoys this divine encounter. Balaram asks Krishna that isn't he aware that Bakasur is gearing for an attack. How, Krishna saves Gokul and teach Bakasur a lesson, will be narrated in this week’s storyline.
‘Jai Shri Krishna’, the original version was launched in 2008. It featured Kritika Sharma, Dhriti Bhatia, Pinky Rajput, Virti Vaghani, Kunal Gaud Krishna, Aditi Sajwan Yashoda Maiya , Zeb Khan and many other actors. It made Meghan a household name almost overnight. Later, the show was dubbed in Tamil in 2009 and successfully entertained the audience.
