Bengali daily soap Jagaddhatri has kept the audience glued with its engaging drama. The current story is simultaneously airing two tracks. While officers Jass, Swayambhu and her team is busy cracking a murder case, Koushiki is getting married. Mukherjee household is gearing up for her big fat wedding although she wants a quiet one.

In the latest episode of Jagaddhatri, Mukherjee family is gearing up for Koushiki’s wedding. She has decided to give her marriage another shot for daughter Kakon’s sake. Koushiki is against a lavish wedding ceremony and wants to keep the event a simple and intimate one. But Boidehi and her group have some other plans in mind. They arrange a grand ceremony for Koushiki-Samaresh’s pre-wedding rituals.Samaresh and his family arrive at Mukherjee household for Koushiki’s Mehendi.

Koushiki suspects Subhadra

All the family members happily enjoy the Mehendi ceremony. Subhadra, who was against Koushiki until yesterday, shows over-excitement regarding the wedding which doesn’t go unnoticed by Koushiki. When she confronts Subhadra, Boidehi comes to her rescue.

Koushiki suspects a vested interest

Koushiki, who is well aware of Boidehi, Utsab and Mehendi’s main motive, suspects that Subhadra must have some reason behind for suddenly showing love and respect towards her. She hints whether Subhadra has a business deal in mind. Such a statement irks Boidehi, her son and daughter-in-law. Koushiki’s skeptical behaviour hurts many of their guests. Her father also criticizes Koushiki for making a fuss. The latter makes it clear that she is giving Samaresh another chance only for Kakon’s sake.

Jass and Swayambhu discuss the murder case

Elsewhere, Jass and Swayambhu discuss the murder case. Jass explains that Noori’s behavior is suspicious and talks about the gold locket that belongs to her. Soon, Jass gets a call from one of the officers posted in Goa. He informs Jass about Siddhartha’s background. Swayambhu is shocked when he learns that Siddhartha and Noori were once married.

Boidehi manipulates Kakon

At Mukherjee household, Kakon, who was very much excited about her mom’s wedding feels upset when Koushiki denies participating in any events. Koushiki tries to cheer her up but fails. Later, Boidehi manipulates the young girls and promises to buy ice cream if she convinces Koushiki to put Mehendi. When Koushiki finds her daughter gloomy, she asks her to put Mehendi on her (Koushiki’s) hands.
