Bengali television serial ‘Krishnakoli’ has recently witnessed a huge change in the storyline. Along with the leap of 18-long-years, there is a sea change in
Shyama (played by Tiyasha Roy) and Nikhil’s (Neel Bhattacharya) life. The estranged couple has a grown up daughter now. Meanwhile, Disha (played by Rimjhim Mitra)-Ashok’s (Vivaan Ghosh) daughter Munni has grown up, too. Actress Ananya Guha is playing Munni’s character now. Well,
Ananya is elated to be a part of the hit TV show which dominated the TRP charts for a very long time.
“I am playing Rimjhim Di’s daughter Munni in the show. The character is quite interesting. She isn’t aware of her parents’ past. In fact, she thinks her parents are no more. Munni considers Nikhil as her dad and shares a strong bond with him,” adds the actress.
According to the storyline, Munni is young and rebellious. She doesn’t approve of the customs and rules followed by the Chowdhury family. “Munni is a modern girl. Like any other teenager, she doesn’t like to be controlled. She wants to live free. Though Munni’s character has some negative shades, I am enjoying the character,” Ananya says.
The shoot started soon after Durga Puja. Ananya is already a part of ‘Krishnakoli’ family. “On the very first day, I had a warm welcome by the team. It was really overwhelming. I have already bonded with the cast and crew members. We have fun in between the shots. During the break, I make fun-videos with Neel Da. It feels good to be a part of Krishnakoli family,” says the chirpy actress.
