Film star Jeet-hosted reality show ‘Ismart Jodi’ is all set for its gala semi-finale. The couple-based reality television show, which has several remakes after its successful run in Telugu, is having its first season on Bengali TV. The show features some of the most popular celebrities as the contestants and eventually inching towards its grand finale. Ahead of it, celebrity jodis will have a stiff competition in the semi-finale round which will be aired this weekend.
Sudip Mukherjee-Pritha, Sourav Saha-Susmita, Aneek Dhar-Debaleena, Raja Goswami-Madhubani, Prantik Banerjee-Ankitaa Chakraborty, Rupankar Bagchi-Chaitali, Rajeev Bose-Mohini, Bharat Kaul-Jayashree will be seen competing in the semi-final round to cement their spot in the grand finale.
Meanwhile, the makers have added interesting rounds and tasks which will not only spice up the high dose of entertainment but also add some fun quotient in the game show. The celebrity participants will be seen performing their best to secure a spot in the soon-to-be-aired finale. The team had a gala time while shooting for the semi-final round.
‘Ismart Jodi’, started its journey on Bengali TV in March almost right after the Hindi version ‘Smart Jodi’, hosted by Manish Paul was launched.
The Bengali celebrity couple-based reality show began its journey featuring 10 pairs. Jeetu Kamal-Nabanita, ‘Kacha Badam’ fame Bhuban Badyakar and his wife were also among the contestants but they got eliminated. Sudip-ritha, Raja-Madhubani, Bharat-Jayashree, Rupankar-Chaitali, Aneek-Debleena are still a part of the show, while Rajeev-Mohini, Prantik-Ankitaa recently joined the team as wildcard contestants. It will be interesting to see who manages to reach the grand finale of the Jeet-hosted soon.
