Mystery thrillers enjoy a different kind of fan base altogether. Nothing can match the excitement of a story that is layered with suspense, thrill and drama perfectly blended together. And keeping that in mind, OTT platforms across languages are ready with their special offerings this year to keep the audience seated on the edge of the seat. Bengali OTT platforms aren’t far away to explore this genre. Besides Ankush Hazra-Debasish Mondal-Sandipta Sen starrer ‘Shikarpur’, Raj Chakraborty directed ‘Abar Proloy’, ‘Raktokarabi’ ( starring Raima Sen and Vikram Chatterjee), Ananya Chatterjee and Saswata Chatterjee starrer ‘Kantaye Kantaye’ and others, Ishaa Saha’s ‘Indu 2’ is also ready to entertain the audience with its thriller suspense.
The second season of ‘Indu’ will narrate a gripping murder mystery. Protagonist Indu, who gets married to a household that has deep secrets buried in its walls, will solve a murder case in which she becomes the prime suspect. The second season has an ensemble cast that includes many popular stars of Tollywood including Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Payel De, Mimi Dutta, Manali Manisha Dey, Judhajit Sarkar, Tanika Basu, Manasi Sinha and others. Besides a story which will take the audience on an exciting journey, Suhotra and Ishaa’s reel chemistry as a pair, will certainly be a treat to the audience.
‘Indu 2’ is directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee. It will start streaming from January 20 on a popular Bengali OTT platform which is also airing eminent Bangladeshi artist Chanchal Chowdhury’s ‘Karagar Season 2’.
