Daily soap ‘Sreemoyee’, whose success on Bengali television prompted the makers to launch it in six other languages including Hindi (Anupamaa), has kept the audience glued to the TV screen with high-voltage drama. The storyline took a new turn with the twist of Rohit’s mysterious disappearance. While actor Tota Roy Choudhury aka Rohit Sen is currently busy with the shooting of his Hindi movie, the makers of ‘Sreemoyee’ are trying their best to justify his absence.The story is revolving around Rohit's mysterious disappearance. To make Rohit's crisis and Sreemoyee’s mission rescue more entertaining, the makers decided to give it a twist. Housemaker Sreemoyee and her old companion Mithu take a rebellious avatar and learn shooting firearms before going on a rescue mission with the private investigators.
Actress Indrani Halder is all excited about Sreemoyee holding a gun. She had a good time while shooting for the sequence. She shared a BTS video from the outdoor shooting sequence expressing her excitement.
That’s not all, Sreemoyee will be seen taking an active part in rescuing her husband Rohit from the goons. She won’t hesitate to aim the gun at the goons either.

Meanwhile, the video clip of Sreemoyee and Mithu holding guns went viral. It has been shared on several social media platforms. The scene, however, has evoked a mixed reaction, while a section of viewers is happy to see the rebellious side of Sreemoyee, a few found it a bit hard to believe.
It will be interesting to see how housemaker-turned-shooter Sreemoyee’s new avatar helps the show score on the TRP charts.
