Iman Chakraborty to appear as the special judge for ‘Aakashe Superstar’

Iman Chakraborty does not need an introduction when it comes to contemporary singers who are leaving a mark in the Bengali industry. From classical music to folk to films- time and again, Iman has woven magic with her singing. She has also ventured into finding new talents and empowering them. The National Award winning singer has now turned judge for ‘Aakashe Superstar’.

‘Aakashe Superstar’ is a newly launched singing reality show where Iman will be seen appearing as a special judge. The National Award winning singer has served as a mentor in other singing reality shows as well. Iman says, "It's my privilege to be a part of the show, Aakashe Superstar and to share my knowledge and passion for music with the talented contestants. I look forward to witnessing the budding singers from Bengal."

A few years back, she started her journey as a mentor on one of Bengal’s most popular singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’. After her stint with ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, Iman has taken another step forward to seek and nurture new talents through her own talent hunt show. She recently launched her new talent hunt show ‘Notun Protibhar Khoje’ where she strives to provide a platform for fresh voices.
