"I will surely watch Maa Durga," says actress Payel De on her show’s rerun

Actress Payel De is known for her acting chops. From ‘Durga’ to ‘Chuni Panna’, Payel has played different roles with equal ease. Her mythological show ‘Maa Durga’, featuring Rudrajit Mukherjee as lord Shiva, is set for a rerun and the actress is left all nostalgic recalling her past project.
“It is indeed a good news that Maa Durga is going on-air once again.It was a great team to work with and we all worked hard,” Payel said. The actress turned nostalgic speaking about ‘Maa Durga’.
The actress has already carved her niche in the entertainment industry. Her hit show ‘Behula’ was also aired by a leading television channel during the complete lockdown and Payel was all excited to watch the repeat telecasts. This time too, she isn’t ready to miss the episodes. Payel said, “I try to watch my shows. It gives you immense joy to watch the old episodes. It takes you for a wonderful journey down the memory lane. I am surely going to watch Maa Durga too,” said the actress.
Payel and Rudrajit starrer ‘Maa Durga’ ran for almost two years and enjoyed good viewership. Looking at this fact, the TV channel decided to run it yet again. Payel, who is known for her acting skills, proved herself yet again in this show. Interestingly, this was Rudrajit’s first show as a lead and he also earned appreciation for his performance.
