back to his NCPA (National Centre for the Performing Arts) days. The actor said, “The sad news shook me to the core. I still remember the day when I waited for hours just to see him from a distance. It was 2005-06, I went to NCPA to watch a theatre and knew that my favourite actor was also present. I patiently waited near the staircase to catch his glimpse.”

Shoumo took a pause, then added, “Finally my wait was worth I saw Irrfan Khan coming down. I still remember he was wearing a summer coat and a white trouser. He was busy while speaking with director Vishal Bhardwaj. He took some moment before stepping inside his car. As a fan boy, I looked at his car till it faded away. If I close my eyes, I still see his car fading away.”

Shoumo paused for a while. The actor shared that watching Irrfan's films was a master class for him.

“More than entertainment, it was a master class for me. He lived every character he has ever played. Irrfan Khan never needed anything else to justify a character. After all, he played the characters by his heart,” said the actor.

Just like Shoumo, the news has left many other actors shattered.
