I love playing Subarna in Bijoyini: Anjana Basu

Anjana Basu, a trained dancer in real life, plays Subarana Roy, an Odissi dancer, in the show Bijoyini. “I started taking dance lessons from the age of four. I love playing Subarna and her looks. But with time, I am trying to make Subarna’s look a bit flexible. I would have loved it if more dance related scenes were incorporated,” said the actress, who is currently shooting a few scenes which depicts the emotional clash between a mother and her son.“In real life, my son is my friend, while in the serial there is always a clash between the two,” added Anjana.
