Aam Bangalis are busy celebrating the Bengali New Year with their loved ones. Some are celebrating the occasion at home amid by enjoying an authentic Bengali platter because of the scorching heat outside, some enthusiasts have planned ahead to go outside for a lavish lunch. Well, while Bengali diaspora is busy welcoming 1430 with their choice of Maach, Mishti and more, TV channels are trying to make Noboborsho more special with their entertainment platter. Special episodes of on-going daily soap, Boishakhi adda with music and dance, star-studded non-fiction shows- variety of entertainment platter is awaiting the audience. A leading channel will air an hour-long episode which promises to be a musical extravaganza. TV show ‘Horoguri Pice Hotel’ is ready to make the Noboborsho more special with a special episode, where a number of guests will join Ghosh family and welcome 1430. There will be song, dance, adda and much more.
Jisshu U Sengupta and Nilanjana produced show ‘Horo Gouri Pice Hotel’ will take the entertainment quotient a few degrees higher with its upcoming episode. Singers Lagnajita Chakraborty, Shovan Ganguly will make an appearance on the show in the Noboborsho special episode and take the audience on a musical ride. Besides this, the cast of Raj Chakraborty directed ‘Godhuli Alap’ will also join Ghosh family. Actors Somu Sarkar, Koushik Sen and others will feature in the show alongside actors Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Mithu Chakraborty, Rahul Mazumdar, Subhosmita Mukherjee who are a part of ‘Horo Gouri Pice Hotel’.
With such a line-up in store, a high dose of entertainment is awaiting the Bengali audience this weekend.
