The scorching summer is already leaving the state waiting for rains. While some are planning to hit the nearby and popular hill stations to dodge the heat, some are trying to beat it with summery drinks.
Mega serials have its typical routine and the actors are forced to work till odd hours or shoot in the outdoors despite the scorching heat. Some of the actors carry glucose or other energy drinks to the shooting sets while some prefer lassi or the typical ‘Aam Porar Shorboth’ to stay fit during the summer.Our very own telly actress Monami Ghosh knows how to beat the heat.
Recently, Monami was shooting in the afternoon for ‘Irabotir Chupkotha’. It was quite a hot furnace outside even after several hits of Kalboisakhi in the past few weeks. To beat the heat, Monami was seen enjoying a glass of lassi in between the shots. She uploaded her picture on social media handle too. And Monami looks simply gorgeous in this red saree and bindi as she poses for the camera holding a glass of lassi in her hands.

The actress is playing a titular role in this popular family drama, which also has model and actor Syed Arefin (as Akash). Monami and Syed Arefin share a sizzling on-screen chemistry which is loved by the audience. The show also features actor Raja Goswami, who was previously seen in ‘Bhalobasa.com’, ‘Kanamachi’ and others. His character has grey shades.
The character Iraboti and her selfless deeds for her family seem to have wooed the audience as the television serial scores quite well on the TRP charts. Monami, who is known for her acting chops, has been widely praised for playing the character with complete ease.
The television serial has a strong cast that includes Suchandra Chowdhury, Auradha Roy, Sumanta Mukherjee, Rajiv Bose, Nayna Mitra and others.
